We don't have a free hosting plan. Every church pays the real cost of running its site, which keeps the service sustainable and keeps us out of advertising and data selling. If cost is the obstacle, write to us and we'll work something out.
Founding churches
We're looking for three founding churches to build this with us. Pay yearly and you get half off your first year. In return, we'll ask for honest feedback and, if you're happy, a few words we can share. After the first year it moves to the standard yearly price, and we'll remind you 30 days before it renews.

Giving fees
The giving form shows the gift, the fee, and what your church receives before the giver confirms.

Example: a $100 card gift leaves your church about $96.80. If the giver ticks "cover the fee", they pay about $103.30 and your church receives the full $100. The box is never pre-ticked. Read the giving policy.
AI credits
AI helpers are on every plan, including the free trial, as prepaid credits only: sermon outlines, small-group guides, announcements, follow-ups. Your church adds prepaid credit before using them. Each draft is set against that balance before it runs, so you never get a surprise bill. When the credit runs out, drafts simply stop. You can turn AI off for your church entirely.

No. You can build your site free for 14 days without a card, and you pay when you're ready to go live. A free plan would mean either losing money or making it up from your data or your donors, and we won't do either.
Nothing is charged. Your draft stays saved and private for 60 days, so you can pick a plan and publish whenever you're ready. After 60 days an unpaid draft is deleted.
Yes, any time, with one email (self-serve plan changes in the dashboard are coming). Moving up takes effect right away. Moving down or cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. You don't need to phone anyone.
Yes. Yearly plans cancelled within the first 30 days get a full refund. A setup fee is refunded in full if we haven't started the work. Monthly plans aren't refunded for partial months. See our terms.
No. We email you 30 days before a yearly plan renews, so you have time to change or cancel.
We let you know and give you a 14-day grace period to fix it. Your site stays up during that time, and your data is always safe and exportable.
At the limit, everyone already in your list keeps working, and you can add more people once you move up a plan. There are no surprise overage charges.
Yes. You can export your people, groups, events, and giving to CSV at any time, with no exit fee.
No, your site works at yourchurch.theway.host. Connecting your own domain is coming soon.
